Why did you join Friends of Riley?
When I attended my first FOR event, I was so impressed by the genuine kindness of the board members, and their hard work and commitment to such a great cause. I knew immediately that it was a worthwhile cause.
What is your position and what committee do you serve on?
Co-VP of External Affairs (Monthly and Annual Events planning committees)
What is your favorite part of being a F.O.R. member?
Getting to work alongside wonderful people for a wonderful cause, and having fun all at the same time. I genuinely enjoy and look forward to meetings and events.
What is your current occupation?
Attorney at Cohen & Malad, LLP, a law firm in downtown Indianapolis.
What do you love most about the industry you work in?
Being a resource for people to turn to when they have a problem, and being a voice for people who may otherwise not feel like they have one.
How do you define success?
Waking up each day and being happy about the life you live (and if you have a family, providing the same for them).
Who inspires you?
Anyone who has gone through something difficult, and handled it with bravery and grace.
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
If I wasn't a lawyer I would love to be a landscape architect or interior designer.
When you’re not working, where in Indianapolis do you like to spend your time?
Anywhere with a patio, good friends, and a cocktail menu :)
